Location - Black Dog Creek is located half way between Berry and Kangaroo Valley. Only two kilometres from the main road, across a creek, this property seems to be miles away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A gravel road and a creek ford make access best for four wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles. Berry is 20 minutes away for shops, cafe, restaurants and groceries.

Configuration - Black Dog Creek is a split level home with three bedrooms. The home is beautifully decorated in an eclectic style with stylish and comfortable furniture.The spacious master bedroom is located on the upper level with a king bed, bedside tables, reading lights, reading lounge in nook, chest of drawers, walk in wardrobe and sliding doors to a deck overlooking a pond.To the right of the entrance area is the guest bedroom wing that has a further two bedrooms; a queen bedroom with bedside tables reading lamps, built in wardrobe, built in bookshelves, tapestry chair and chest of drawers and a queen bedroom with single trundle bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobes, bedside table and reading lamps.
There are two bathrooms;the master bathroom with pebbled floor, marble topped vanity, double sized open wet shower area and large bathtub and second bathroom with shower, toilet, marble bench and sink with washing machine.
Black Dog Creek has two living areas; one which opens up to the outdoor south-facing deck and alfresco dining area and another combined living/dining space separated by a double-sided wooden fireplace. The living room has a fifties retro feel with comfortable cane chairs and large squishy sofas, a TV and DVD player and heavy timber sliding on both sides of the room slide open onto two spacious outdoor decks.
The kitchen has a delightful retro feel, with hand-crafted wooden kitchen cabinets, modern appliances including a large Bosch fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven, coffee plunger, food processor, blender, Miele Dishwasher, coffee mill, crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking utensils and serving platters. A secure recycle food waste bin sits under the kitchen bench and is for the composting wormer bin under the house.
Outdoors -There are two outdoor eating terraces, both have dining tables and chairs. The north-east facing stone deck is an ideal space for yoga or to relax in the sunshine. Trees, gardens and dams surround the property making it perfect for exploring but also very private.
Heating and cooling - Black Dog Creek has overhead fans in all bedrooms, a wood fired fireplace and central heating throughout: wall-mounted water-filled radiators turn on at 5am-10am and again at 4pm-10pm.
Linen -Sheets, pillows, blankets or doonas, linen and bath towels are provided at this property. Please however bring your favourite beach towel!
Parking -There is off street, open air parking for up to three cars on the driveway. A gravel road and a creek ford make access best for four wheel or all-wheel-drive vehicles.

Minimum stay -There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
Peak changeover day -Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
Internet/WiFi access - This property provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email, or will be available at the property. Please note however that we or the owner cannot guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if it is problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
